Abstract :
The pseudo availability of a repairable series system with n different components is derived, the failure of which can be detected only by inspection. Repair is perfect, and the repair and inspection time are both taken into consideration. The total probability formula is used to deduce the pseudo availability, and an example is given to compare the pseudo availability and the instantaneous availability.
