Abstract :
Smoothing methods for transitional surfaces are discussed. Continuity of all kinds of smoothing methods, which are the selective warrant, is given. The smoothing methods for complex transitional surfaces are given by fender surfaces of an auto-body. And the theoretical curves are emphasized in transitional surfaces smoothing. The example verified that the methods can construct transitional surfaces quickly with favorable quality.
