Abstract :
In order to solve the larger local displacements problem of common suspended structure, a novel suspended structure: semi-rigid suspended structure is put forward, and the 3D model is built by using ANSYS software, the damping performance of the new structure is analyzed under two typical seismic waves. The results showed that the semi-rigid suspended structure could effectively reduce the displacement peak response, and the inter-story drift mainly concentrated in semi-rigid layer, while within suspended floors segments was small.
