Abstract :
In this paper the authors propose a novel mobility management framework with functions for built-in verification of configuration changes and for fault tolerance, which assures stability of the wireless network and a fair Quality of Service (QoS) level. The proposed framework will use the solution in network-based data distribution to the client. In case of the mobility of the wireless network, the goal is to update the network configuration against all unexpected changes that may occur and also to obtain a constant flow of data, so that even in a busy network environment or in case of a poor connection the speed at which data is transferred reaches fair values for all users/clients. The advantage of this approach is that in a dynamic and busy network this management mechanism saves time, increases the performance of the client and reduces the server load. The configuration planning with the prediction module and the fault tolerant algorithm are new concepts integrated in the proposed solution, which are meant to demonstrate the superiority of the new architecture when compared to the traditional peer-to-peer (P2P) model.
