Abstract :
In order to understand the dynamic behaviour of a system, it is needed to analyze the features of the solutions of the mathematical models. In modelling methodology, for dealing with complex systems, it is useful to have different representations of that system which capture the essential features and hide irrelevant details. The analysis presented in this paper, describe the mathematical model of a steam heat-exchanger (from S.C. Prolemn S.A.), in the presence of uncertainties. The behaviour of both the nominal system and the one affected by uncertainties, which are being controlled by a single controller, are simulated and then analysed based on the time domain and frequency responses, using Matlab techniques.
