  • Abstract
Due to the self-rotation, the earth becomes ellipsoid and the equator upheaves. Satellites will be affected by the perturbation when it rotates around the earth. In May, 27 of 2008, China launched the second generation solar synchronous meteorological satellite named FY-3. By analyzing the subpoint tracks of several recurrence intervals during the year, it is find that the perturbation affects greatly on FY-3 and the corresponding observation performance. This paper takes the actual data of subpoint track from FY-3 and gives a detailed analysis about the perturbation effects on the solar synchronous meteorological satellite.
