Abstract :
In high dynamic circumstance, the receiving signals suffer from severe Doppler spread, which is time-variant and nonlinear. Furthermore, such Doppler spread can´t be compensated accurately in non-cooperative situations. As a result, traditional demodulation methods which require carrier synchronization will be quite limited in use. To deal with this problem, this paper proposes a new demodulation algorithm based on the instant frequency distribution characteristics of Differential Phase Shift Keying (DPSK) signals, as well as wavelet transform. A real experiment and some simulation results show that, the newly proposed algorithm is still applicable in high dynamic circumstance, and its symbol error rate is only 3 dB worse than the corresponding theoretical lower bound.
