Abstract :
The radio transmissions between moving trains and the access point devices beside the rails is the critical technique in communication based train control (CBTC) system. To verify the wireless communications system performance a channel emulator scheme which working at radio frequency band and the processing time delay is less than one microsecond is proposed. Analyse of the characteristics of the propagation is carried out by using ray tracing approach and the channel model in tunnels is emulated with attenuation and fading mechanisms.
