Abstract :
A trustworthy energy efficient routing algorithm (TEER) is proposed in this paper aims to distribute energy consumption across sensors evenly as well as increase path security in a hierarchical-cluster sensornet. In this paper, we model the cluster heads election using a game theoretic paradigm. The Nash equilibrium of our election game corresponds to the optimal healthier cluster heads having higher energy and trust level. A trust model is integrated in TEER to evaluate node´s trust level and detect evil nodes. Simulation results testify to the effectiveness of the algorithm in producing a longer network lifetime and a safer network.
