Abstract :
A compact X-band microstrip array antenna with a squint beam is introduced without matched load. Experimental and simulated results are in good agreement. Its measured beam is at 10 degree offset to the broadside with a measured gain of 12.2dB at 10GHz. The impedance bandwidth (VSWR≦2) of 15% is measured. It is a wideband design with compact simple structure, suited for fuze application.
