A method to improve the reliability of CBTC wireless lin

With the development of electronic communication technology, CBTC (Communication Based Train Control) has become the main method of automatic train control. Based on the results of several field tests in the tunnel, this paper analyses the performance and principle of OFDM wireless modulation method used in WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) CBTC. A new method called subcarrier redundancy is employed to solve the unreliability issue of wireless link cased by Multi-path effect. Simulation result suggests that this method is effective.
