Abstract :
In this paper, we present a study of the cryptographic properties of symmetric Boolean functions, especially of the propagation properties. We point that the value of autocorrelation functions of a symmetric function are equal when they have fixed Hamming weight. Furthermore, we extensively study the propagation properties of symmetric functions by giving the algebraic normal forms of the derivatives of a symmetric function with respect to any vectors.
