Abstract :
Focusing on the features of BOMs which are produced during the processes of product design, planning and manufacture and the effective organization and management of BOMs, we build a collaborative information-share BOM structure model by classifying BOM structures into two categories: primary share BOM and feature BOM which is subdivided into secondary share BOM and independent BOM. In addition, using the model, we present a new method of representation and management of collaborative BOMs based on process relationship and mapping transformation. Thus our research provides a new BOM theoretical method and technical basis for cooperation among all the departments within an enterprise.
