Abstract
To elucidate the deficiency in Hong Kong domain name dispute resolution mechanism, this article starts from the comparative study of Domain name dispute resolution system, analyze the procedural mechanism and reverse domain name hijacking policy in Hong Kong. The resulted showed that the mandatory arbitration proceeding in Hong Kong is in favor of mark holder, Also, the rules of HKDNR can not effectively penalize reverse domain name hijacking, the interests of the domain name registrants, therefore, have been ignored.
