Abstract
Collaboration becomes an essential competency in the current knowledge society. In this study, a collaborative learning environment was designed to facilitate students in group collaboration. Each group was suggested to create various folders to save the milestone versions of their product. Also, a progress report was developed to coordinate group members´ collaboration. The results showed that a majority of the groups used the learning environment to share information, backup versions, and hence collaborate with each other. The progress report also helped them in coordination. Implications and suggestions for designing collaborative learning environments are provided.
