Abstract
Scholars in educational technology have paid attention to the design and development of multimedia educational software. However, the traditional educational software can not effectively stimulate student interest in learning or increase motivation. Basing on the psychological characteristics of students, it is proposed to apply flash games to the design and development of primary CAI courseware, so that students can acquire knowledge with pleasure during the game. The results showed that the flash game-based educational software can enhance student interest in learning, strengthen the motivation and extend the duration of interest.
