Abstract
This paper gives an overview of Software Development Quality Plan as organizational assignment towards the project dealing with non-technical requirements on work product related to the quality, processes and measurements. The basic principles of the project quality management, especially quality planning phase are described. The importance of organizational involvement in quality requirements definition, control, and active participation are discussed. In addition, one example of the Software Development Quality Plan is given. Some proposals and future directions in the area of software product quality and development process improvements are given.
