Abstract :
Image enhancement is a very important stage in the automatic fingerprint identification. But the distance of dermal ridge and the direction of dermal ridge are parameters in most enhancement algorithms at present. In this article, we solve the inadequate of spectra analysis and statistics method, that can estimate the distance of dermal ridge nicely reliable and fast.
