Abstract
The temporal Talbot effect enables the flexible and cost-effective generation of microwave signals. We demonstrate the generation of frequencies up to 90 GHz using an optical pulse source with a 10 GHz repetition rate. Time- and frequency domain measurements were performed. The phase noise of the generated RF tones was assessed.
