Abstract :
In this paper, based on Motor Speech Profile and combined with the normative data of DDK parameters in American adults, we tested 11 parameters of DDK, such as Average DDK Period, Average DDK Rate, Standard Deviation of DDK Period, Coeff.of Variation of DDK Period, Perturbation of DDK Period, Average DDK Peak Intensity and so on. According to our researches on the characteristics of normal motor speech in our college students and the differences of the norm values between Chinese and Americans, we verified the conclusion abroad that there is no relativity between genders and DDK parameters and found out the significant differences between Chinese and Americans. This provides foundation for formulating the normative data of diadochokinetic parameters suitable to Chinese language.
