Abstract :
This paper presents the architectural design and overall design for a distributed Integrated Information Management System of a large scale cotton-spin company after completing the detailed system requirement analysis. In the system, an architecture based on J2EE of six-layer is provided, and the main functions for each layer are described. The key technologies such as component technology, system integration technology which the system adopts are focused on. The system performance proves that the management level and efficiency of the company are improved and the production cost is reduced significantly after the system implementation The Company has achieved the total quality management with entire procedure and entire-personnel participating on a whole. The production quality of the company improved notably.
