Abstract :
As the multiplicity of traditional network management models coexists, and each management information language has a different level of semantic expressiveness, this paper proposes the use of semantic web service technology as a new approach to improve the semantic expressiveness of management information languages. Applying ontology to management information languages can be useful for integration of information definitions specified by different management languages. Performance management service as a case is described using OWL-S, then services composited by OWL-S Editor.
