Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.
The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org.
With the background of maneuvering target tracking, based on analyzing Variable Structure Multiple Model (VSMM) algorithms, the main of research is Model Set Adaptation(MSA). A model group switching algorithm(MGS) and a likely model set(LMS) based on detecting the change of residuals are designed. At the given initial conditions with the movement characteristics of maneuvering target, the paper carries out Monte Carlo simulation experiments about strong maneuverable target using two algorithms. The simulation results show that the LMS algorithm has better tracking accuracy and stability than MGS algorithm. Meanwhile, the LMS algorithm costs less calculation time and is convenient for application.
