  • Abstract
    Time synchronization is one of classical issues in network technique. It is also a hotspot to apply Network Time Protocol (NTP) to Integrated Automation System in Coal Mine. Aimed to the feature and time precision request of each level in Integrated Automation System for Coal Mine, this paper develops a time synchronization algorithm by means of Allan variance to analyze the noise in each link, in which we adopt a method of combination of adjusted frequency and adjusted phase to attain synchronization between the Client and the time Server. Under the time precision requirement, the result of the experiment shows the algorithm is more effective by lowering access frequency to NTP time server compared with the traditional algorithm based on phrase adjustment and tends to be applied widely in Integrated Automation System for Coal Mine.
