Abstract :
This paper investigates two equalization methods enabling the passive coherent location (PCL) system using GSM as illuminator of opportunity to eliminate the distortion of the reference signal. The first one is the Constant Modulus Algorithm (CMA) based on a blind method. The second one using the Viterbi Algorithm to decode the transmitted bits and to regenerate the reference signal.
