Abstract :
To follow the technology advancement and satisfy the needs on the RTI software in the “Cloud computing” age, a scheme of remodeling the traditional RTI software to be with “Platform as a Service (PaaS)” architecture was proposed. Software construction, sub-component functions and the method of interacting based on the remodeled RTI software on the WAN were studied. The focus was scheduling computing resource based on virtualization and encapsulating the RTI software to be RTI Web Services based on grid technology. Finally, an experiment was carried out to test the time-latency performance of the remodeled software. The test outcome shows that: although the time-latency performance falls because of the remodeling, the remodeled RTI software can work in a simulation application under certain condition.
