Abstract :
The chip, SC281198, which is an Octal Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter produced by Philips Company. Its characters that contain features and registers were introduced in detail. And take an application of data conversion set as an example, interface circuit was given. A channel of chip was exampled, in which registers configuration and interruption program was designed. The flow chart was also shown. The running results show that SC28L198 is effectively used in series interface of the measure and control system for high integrated package, big function and low power etc.
