Abstract
As a result of an overt advantage on more high efficient energy saving, simple structure and little technical difficulty, the chopped wave cascade speed control drive system is used widely in many industrial sites in China. Compared with the traditional cascade speed drive in phase-shift bursting mode, many changes take place in the main circuit structure of the chopped wave cascade speed control drive. At present, for the most documents, the explanation about speed controlling mechanism of the whole system is usually presented, however in which, the thorough and explicit analysis to illustrate the relationship between the base electrical parameters is lacking. Additionally, design and selection of the parts in the main circuit is completed by means of experience without the supports from specific theory. A study for the base relationship between the input and output parameters is done according to the characters on the primary parts of the main circuit when in steady state, and the corresponding mathematical model is offered. Meanwhile, on the base of that, the selection principle about the structure parameters of the main circuit is presented. At last, the conclusion from the above analysis and discussion is verified by the simulation model.
