Abstract :
This paper proposes the use of quantum-inspired evolutionary algorithm in analog evolvable hardware (EHW). The circuit coding representation, chromosome fitness evaluation method and evolution process of the analog EHW are presented. By the experiments of evolving the circuits of amplifier, full-wave rectifier, integrator and OR-gate on the second generation field programmable transistor array (FPTA-2), the evolutionary performances are demonstrated. Results show that QEA can get better evolutionary results with a higher evolutionary speed than genetic algorithm (GA).
