Study on relationship between road transportation and economic development in Xinjiang based on grey relation analysis

Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is an important force in Xinxiang´s economic development, social stability, and national unity and border consolidation. In the integrated transport system of the Corps, road transportation is of absolute dominance and it is also the lifeblood of economic development of the Corps. Therefore, the study of the relationship of economic development and road transportation in the corps has great practical meaning. This paper uses Grey Relation Analysis to analyze the relationship between road transport and economic development in the Corps. The macroeconomic data of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps over the years is taken as the object to study. This paper selects several key indicators to reflect road transportation development, calculates the values of their Grey Relations with the economic development, arranges them numerically and briefly analyzes the findings.
