After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.

Housing development of Shanghai starts boom during 2000-2002. Quantification is used to examine effects of housing developments on Shanghai cityscape. Shanghai housing market growth is introduced firstly, then housing unit price is chosen as evaluation indicator, and housing quality are classified by setting appropriate range of unit price. The analysis and comparisons are then made of the regional proportion structure and its changes of all quality grades, and also made of the development quality and its structure of different regions. Finally the future spatial structures of development quality as well as its space effects are estimated briefly.
