Abstract :
In this paper we introduced the secure information management layer (IML) for information sharing system among peers over the JXTA network in the P2P environment. The IML interfaces with the JXTA framework and provides additional functionalities for the management of information. It caters for the integrity and confidentiality of information by using (partial signatures/encryption) and is also automating the traceability of information flows through the information system by using the concept of dynamic meta-data.
