Abstract :
Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) is a system using IP-based network to provide digital television services to end users. Compared with traditional cable TV, IPTV provides richer interactive operations and value-added services. TV show recording service is one of the basic IPTV services. To effectively improve the quality and efficiency of TV show recording service, this paper designs and implements an intelligent acquisition and fast processing recording system. In the system, we propose an intelligent algorithm for acquisition of TV shows - the decision algorithm for popular show, which can automatically record the most popular shows and generate a high-value TV show video library; design a specific show editing module and a video publishing interface for fast processing show videos. This system is successfully deployed in the IPTV platform of Guangzhou TV Station, providing high-quality and efficient video services.
