Abstract :
This paper proposes a new ship autopilot control system which consists of the Bang-Bang controller and the fuzzy neural controller. Considering the nonlinearity and time varying parameters of ship steering, the proposed method provides a high precision control system. Simulation results show that the ship autopilot based on the fuzzy neural network outperforms the fuzzy ship autopilot.
