Abstract
In this paper, a ZigBee wireless sensor network (WSN) is constructed for vibration signal acquisition of pump. And WiFi is used for connecting this network to Ethernet. Vibration sensor of intrinsic safety with double modes is applied in intelligent node, which has function of signal acquisition, state recognition, and data transmission. If the equipment is in abnormal state, original data is sent to field server for further analysis and diagnosis, else only data of symptom parameters is sent. So the load and energy consumption of wireless sensor network is decreased. A prototype of this system is established for performance test. Experimental results show that the system can implement signal acquisition and transmission, recognize abnormal state of rotating machinery timely and effectively.
