Abstract :
In this paper, the dynamical behaviors of a two-dimensional simplified Hodgkin-Huxley model exposed to low frequency electric fields are studied by employing the qualitative analysis and numerical simulation. The necessary and sufficient condition is given for the existence of the Hopf bifurcation. The simplified model is very similar to the original model. It would be a great help to further investigate the original model.
