Rough set based creativity rule extracting for middle school students

Abstract :
The purpose of this study was try to find the rules between scientific creativity and creativity affective. Williams Creativity Test B (WCTB) and Adolescent Scientific Creativity Scale (ASCS) were used to measure creativity for 495 middle school students. In the decision table, four creative affective variables were used as conditional attributes, and scientific creativity was used as decision attribute. Eight rules were extracted with rough set. It was found that risk-taking and curiosity were very important for scientific creativity.
