  • Abstract
    An optical interconnection technology based on the integration of polymer waveguides onto conventional PCBs is reviewed. An optical transceiver and a chip-to-chip optical interconnect formed on low-cost FR4 substrates operating at 10 Gb/s are demonstrated.
