  • Abstract
    A 60 GHz-band all-optical single-sideband frequency upconverter using an arrayed waveguide grating and a semiconductor optical amplifier has been experimentally demonstrated. The dispersion-induced power penalty was negligible after transmission over a 25 km fiber.
