Abstract
Colorless ROADM nodes are essential for future dynamic optical networks. We propose electrical domain filtering for high speed signals (40 Gb/s, 100 Gb/s) at the transmitter to achieve low crosstalk in simple coupler-based colorless add-ports in ROADM nodes.
