Abstract :
A velocity-match chained integration of EAMs and SOAs with bypassing high-velocity of high-impedance-transmission-line is demonstrated. A clear and opening eye diagram of 40 Gb/s by 2Vpp with optical gain of 12.5 dB and extinction ratio of 32 dB is achieved.
