Abstract
We present a wavelength-routed multicast packet switch where both unicast and multicast packets can share a set of fiber delay lines for contention resolution and buffering. Simulation results show that the switch can effectively avoid the deterioration of packet loss probability induced by the increase of multicast traffic.
