            Abstract : 
The ISI (Inter-Symbol Interference) caused by channel fading and multi-path propagation challenges the efficiency and availability over the wireless digital communication. SC-FDE (Single-Carrier Frequency-Domain Equalization) is commended as one of valid methods to overcome ISI. In recent years, the research on SC-FDE develops quickly. This paper takes a study on a dual-mode (DD-LMS+MCMA) blind equalization algorithm applied in a single-carrier system. This algorithm can decrease the complicity of system, improve the convergence and diminish the steady state error compared with the multi-carrier system. Finally, it shows better channel tracking capability.
