Abstract :
The fiber Bragg grating temperature sensor with its unique advantages has be taken more attentions, but the low sensitivity limited its application. A new packaging technique about FBG temperature sensor is introduced. The technique will enhance the FBG temperature sensitive coefficient and eliminate the crossing effect of stress and pressure and improve the accuracy and linearity. Through experiments on the naked fiber and packaged fiber comparing the temperature character and stressing influence, the results showed that this method can not only effectively increase the sensitivity of fiber grating, but also eliminate the effect stress and greatly improved the ability of fiber grating.
