Abstract :
In the paper, a realization technique for two-dimensional orthogonal separable-denominator systems is presented. It starts with orthogonal state-space equations and finish with a structure consisting of Givens rotations and unit delays. Obtained result is suitable for FPGA-based implementation for which a Givens rotation design was proposed, suitable for realtime processing. The technique is illustrated with a design of separable-denominator Gaussian filter.
