  • Abstract
In the paper, a novel approach to optimisation of the adaptive communication systems (ACS) with feedback is considered. The core idea of the approach is a solution of optimisation task under given bit-error rate (BER) as an additional constraint. New effects appearing in optimal ACS are discussed. The obtained results give basic information for designing the systems working at the Shannon´s boundary.
