Abstract
In the paper, a novel synthesis technique of Roesser model for separable denominator systems is presented. It is based on the full rank decomposition of numerator coefficient matrix which results in cascade connection of two one-dimensional systems. Both systems are realized as orthogonal filters and rearranged into two-dimensional state-space equations. The method is illustrated by an exemplary design of two-dimensional separable denominator Gaussian filter.
