Abstract :
This paper proposes a new control strategy for an air-conditioning system. In conventional controls, the manual reset (the bias component of control input at the steady-state) has been eternally fixed. In this paper, the manual reset is adjusted depending on the disturbance. As a result, the proposed method is the simple PD controller with the adjustable manual reset. Then, the calculation of the adjustable manual reset is described. Next, the adequate PD parameters can be obtained so as to minimize the integral of square error by the simulation. Finally, the comparison of one-day operation results with the proposed method and the conventional methods will be demonstrated.
