  • Abstract
To meet the requirements of aerial photography, a device with Multi-spectral digital camera system based on Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is designed, it can exchange filters automatically with different band. The filter-changing complies with the principle of the single-lens cameras with the filter wheel structure. The device consists of horizontal and vertical displacement where the key component of power train is the guide screw. The drive mechanism makes the size of the system smaller, while in flight test it will not impact on the experiment. The work instructions of filters from FPGA can drive the horizontal and vertical motors. Meanwhile, the displacement parameters of motors can be returned to the input of instructions system by feedback, so a complete closed-loop control system is designed. The control system can achieve precision displacement in the horizontal and vertical directions.
