  • Abstract
    We propose in this paper a new adaptive backstepping servo control algorithm that satisfies the maximum torque per ampere condition for interior permanent magnet synchronous motor drive systems using implicit and symbolic computation approach. The proposed design method, compared to conventional ones, possesses more degrees of freedom and flexibility in designing the control and parameter estimation laws. The effectiveness of the control algorithm is validated by numerical simulation results.
